About Nicholas Low

Nicholas Low joined Tarrant, Gillies, Richardson & Shems in 2018 after three years clerking with the Vermont Judiciary. Nick’s practice includes land use, environmental, municipal, administrative, and general civil litigation.

Prior to joining the firm, Nick clerked for two years with the Vermont Superior Court, Environmental Division, where he worked on matters related to municipal zoning, Act 250, and Agency of Natural Resources permitting and enforcement. Nick also clerked for one year with the Chittenden County Criminal and Family Divisions. At Vermont Law School Nick worked as a summer law clerk with the Environmental Division of the Vermont Attorney General’s Office and spent a semester as a student clerk with Judge William K. Sessions, III in the Federal District Court for the District of Vermont.

Before law school Nick worked for many years in international development and humanitarian aid in Eastern Europe, Asia and Africa.
